    Free Intro Lesson

The goal of your free intro lesson is simply to introduce you to dancing and is a great way for you to experience first hand what JT Ballroom is all about. Think of it as a sampler. There are no obligations. It also helps you narrow down what exactly you want to learn. It allows your teacher to organize a ‘game-plan’ for your dancing goals, and gives you a chance to check us out before signing up for anything. Let’s see if we’re a good match.

    What to Wear

We require full dance costume. JUST KIDDING! Just wear something you are comfortable in and something that does not restrict your movement. When it comes to shoes, the most important thing to remember is that they are stable and secure on your feet (no flip flops). Dress shoes are usually best. Please avoid athletic shoes as the rubber soles grip the floor and cause injury.

    What if I Don’t Have a Partner?

No Partner? No Problem! The beauty of a private lesson is that your fantastic teacher is your dance partner. Currently all lessons are held outdoors. We also offer a variety of great ways that allow you to maintain social distancing while still having fun learning how to dance!

Our group classes are also designed to accommodate everyone. Students rotate throughout the class, giving everyone a chance to dance with a partner. *Currently all classes are held outdoors and are no-contact.

    COVID-19 Protocols

We may have some new protocols and some things might be different in the studio. But what will remain the same is US! The warm friendly atmosphere, the outstanding service we provide and the same high standard of excellence we are known for.

The health and safety of our students is of utmost importance. For more information on our current studio protocols, please click here.
